eBible Creator
eBibles are a means of storing, indexing and comprehensively searching large volumes of documents related to any corporate transaction. The most commonly used structure consists of all relevant transaction documents stored as OCR’d PDFs which, combined with a linked table of contents, allows easy navigation between documents.
eBibles are usually produced as CDs or DVDs containing:
- A contents page in PDF format with links to all the documents
- All relevant documents, with a complete set of bookmarks
- An installable version of Adobe Acrobat Reader
Traditionally, generating eBibles is manual, labour intensive and time consuming, involving several different applications to create the desired end product.
Capgens eBible Creator is a single application that fully automates this process and can be used as a plug in to our capture software or as a stand alone solution.
Large eBibles will be automatically split over multiple CDs/DVDs, each of which will include a full index, informing the end-user of the volume number to be loaded to view the document.
The primary focus of this application’s design is to remove the slow, complex and manual tasks and make it a quick, easy and automated one resulting in greater efficiency and improved productivity.
